FunctionFIND microRNA: mature form, FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS: regulation/ expression, SPECIES: plant, http://www.biotec.or.th/isl/micropc , An extensive resource which enables identifying potential microRNAs- target sites and their analysis in plants., Mhuantong W- Wichadakul D. MicroPC (microPC): A comprehensive resource for predicting and comparing plant microRNAs. BMC Genomics. 2009 Aug 7;10:366. PubMed PMID: 19660144; PubMed Central PMCID: PMC2907689. , 2009, 100, Dataset downloadable, Online, I. SPECIES SUPPORTED INCLUDE: plant II. QUERY OR INPUT DATA: 1.Select from the given list of known microRNAs. 2. Search: By microRNA name- mirBase AC or ID- mature microRNA sequence or select from the given list of plant species. 3. For targets: Search by microRNA family name- UniProt accession no.- or select from the given list of plant species or by Gene Ontology 3. To predict microRNA: enter a nucleotide sequence to search against plant mature microRNA sequences referenced from miRBase (Maximum length 3000 bp). 4. To predict target: enter mature miRNA sequence(18-26 bps)- and select from target dataset (species) III. OUTPUT DATA: depending on the type of analysis chosen the following output is obtained: 1. Output in graphical format showing plants related to the given microRNAs 2. Search results display the respective microRNA candidate or targets. 3. Predictions of microRNAs and targets.
